The product ranges available in the new format are the semi-skimmed and skimmed varieties of PULEVA Calcium and PULEVA A+D.
PULEVA Calcium, scientifically proven effectiveness
PULEVA was the first brand to develop PULEVA Calcium, a complete range of milk enriched with approximately 40% more calcium than normal milk and vitamin D.
In addition, its effectiveness has been scientifically proven, as the calcium included to enrich PULEVA Calcium attaches and is absorbed better and in greater quantities than that of standard milks and other calcium enriched milks, according to a scientific study carried out by PULEVA Biotech, which has been published in one of the most prestigious medical magazines in the world, The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (Am J Clin Nutr 2006;83:310-6). In it, the fraction of calcium absorbed from three milk drinks was compared: basic semi-skimmed milk, PULEVA Calcium semi-skimmed and milk enriched with calcium.
